Who this covers

This page describes how Willow Intelligence handles information for this website and for Willow Observatory. It is maintained by Willow Intelligence and written in plain language on purpose. It is not legal advice, and it is not an independent audit or certification. Where the Observatory shows its own in-product policy, that policy governs your use of the Observatory; this page is written to describe the same practices, not different ones.

What we collect

Account details you give us, such as your email address. Billing information, which is handled by our payment processor. The content you send through Willow, so that it can be processed and so that continuity can be preserved. And basic technical and usage records needed to operate, support, and secure the service.

The 18+ eligibility check at signup

Willow Observatory accounts are for adults aged 18 or over. When you create a new account, you are asked for your birth month and year. That input is processed locally in your browser for one purpose only, working out whether you are at least 18. It is discarded immediately after that calculation: your birth month and year are not sent to Willow and are not stored by us.

What we keep from that check

We store only the minimal eligibility attestation the account needs: that the 18+ threshold was met, which threshold and policy version was applied, and the time the attestation was made. We do not keep your date of birth or age. This is an age-eligibility check and attestation, not identity verification, it does not prove your age, and we don't claim that it does. If you already have an account, signing in does not ask you for your birth month and year.

Why we collect it

To run your account, process what you ask Willow to process, keep the service secure and available, handle payments, and answer your support messages. We do not sell personal information.

Model providers and service processors

Willow is provider-neutral and is not a model. To answer a request, the relevant content may be sent to the model provider or tool required for that request, and to the service providers we use to host, bill, and support the product. Those providers handle that content under their own terms. We share what is needed for the task, not more.

How long we keep it

We keep account, billing, and thread information for as long as it is needed to provide the service to you and to meet records we are required to keep. Deleting content or closing your account starts removal of the associated information from active systems. We don't publish fixed retention windows here, because they differ by record type and can change.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@willow-intelligence.com from the address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and some records, such as billing history, may need to be retained even after a deletion request.

Cookies and site measurement

This site uses what is needed to serve pages, keep sessions working, and understand aggregate traffic. Specific measurement tools can change over time; if you want to know what is running at a given moment, ask us and we'll tell you.

Changes

This page may be updated as the product changes. The revision date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed, check it if you want to know whether anything has moved.
